Travis was called to the bar in 2017 and has practiced labour and employment law from the beginning of his career for a management-side labour and employment firm in Ottawa. He provides legal guidance in the following areas:

• Advising on pieces of legislation including, the Employment Standards Act, the Labour Relations Act, the Ontario Human Rights Code, the Canada Labour Code, the Canadian Human Rights Act, the Occupational Health and Safety Act, the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act, and the Personal Information and Electronics Protection Act;
  
• Advising on wrongful dismissal claims, including constructive dismissals;
• Advising on Human Rights Claims, including employer accommodation requirements and workplace disability;
• Advising on employment contracts, policies, and bonus plans;
• Representing clients at the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal, the Ontario Labour Relations Board, the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board, and the Ontario Superior Court of Justice;
• Advising on employer rights under Collective Agreements; and
• Representing employers in Arbitration.
